Are there really skills that require zero talent? Well, the reality lies in between yes and no. While these skills do not require the mainstream definition of talent, they do require punctuality; and this is a skill many are struggling with.
#1 Being on time
Arriving somewhere, that is either an hour away or just five minutes, on time is called planning; and it is a skill not many claim to have.
#2 Work ethic
Too many people do not realize their full potential as they do not go the extra mile. Always challenge yourself, and progress will inevitably come.
#3 Body language
Having a good body language can go a long way. Maintain eye contact, do not slouch, and appear to be open for anyone to come and talk to you.
#4 Energy
Personal energy is like electricity and it gets you moving and motivated. Nonetheless, you need to train your mind on how you should use it.
#5 Attitude
Attitude is the most important skill, as it lays the foundations for you to deal with any challenge, with courage and not fear.
#6 Passion
Push yourself to explore. Once you learn what your passion is, you will see that it is ok to show it and why not share it.
#7 Being coachable
Being coachable is all about enriching your knowledge and learn how to adapt to new environments and situations.
#8 Be prepared
Being prepared will help deal with uncertainty and will remove stress. However, be careful not to be over-prepared, as then you will lose valuable time.
